While it may seem unusual to see Carlo Aquino and Matteo Guidicelli hit the stage together for a show, fans are actually in for some exciting treats from the two heartthrobs as they promised to give their fans a night to remember in their upcoming concert.
“I guess what I can say is it’s a very intimate show. Music Museum all 700. And the style of Music Museum is very intimate. We’ll interact with our audience talaga no? And this is also our thank you to all our supporters and everybody else who has been supporting us. Carlo just hit it good with his film. So it’s our thank you kind of thing also. It can be very intimate - rock and roll good vibes show,” Matteo said of their full band show during a presscon held at the R20 Events Place.
Carlo revealed that some of the songs that fans can hear from them are by The Beatles and Bruno Mars among others.
Asked if they are willing to collaborate on an original song together, Matteo recalled the first time the two of them performed together on stage and said: “Yeah. Why not? We jammed one time, Bantay Kalikasan event for ABS-CBN—we went on stage and we just jammed.”
Meanwhile, Carlo—who had #CarGel fans asking if he and Angelica Panganiban gave love a second chance following the latter’s sweet post on Instagram—denied the speculations that they decided to get back together.
The photo, which has already garnered over 260,000 likes on Instagram as of this writing, was just a testament that they find inspiration in each other according to Carlo.
“Hindi na matatapos. Lahat ng kaligayahan ngayon, para sayo. Mahal kita,” Angelica wrote in the photo.
“Hindi. Hindi kami. Well, ako din naman mahal ko siya eh — source of inspiration, ‘di ba? ‘Yun lang din naman wini-wish namin sa isa’t-isa na ‘wag matapos ‘yung saya,” Carlo said.
Though Carlo has finally put an end to the issue surrounding the real status of his relationship with Angelica, he assured his fans that nothing has changed between them even after the filming of Exes Baggage.
“Nagkikita pa rin naman kami. Hindi naman natapos ‘yung communication after ng pelikula. Sinusundo ko siya ‘pag kailangan puntahan,” the Exes Baggage actor said.
Carlo Aquino and Matteo Guidicelli’s concert is happening on November 17 at the Music Museum.
