Fans think Jessica Sanchez might join Regine Velasquez-Alcasid as one of the judges of the local franchise of 'American Idol.'
Jessica Sanchez, who joined the eleventh season of American Idol, took the opportunity to congratulate Regine Velasquez-Alcasid on her recent transfer to ABS-CBN.
She also thanked Asia's Songbird for supporting her all the way back when she was still part of American Idol.
"Big congrats to miss @reginevalcasid on the big news," she wrote. "Thank you for being amazing & also for rooting for me when I was on idol! Can’t wait to see you as a judge on Phil Idol (sic)," she continued.
Regine, who warmly received Jessica's congratulations over her decision to move to ABS-CBN, extended her sincerest thanks by stating how proud she is of the Fil-Am singer and exclaimed that she should've been the one who won the competition.
"You should’ve been the winner but even so to all of us Filipinos, YOU ARE THE WINNER. I’m proud of you and thank you," she replied.
Responding to the Kapamilya star's tweet, she wrote: "Thank you love! Hopefully we run into each other next time I’m in the Philippines. Love yah."
While Jessica didn't give any obvious hints about the possibility that she might join Regine as one of Idol Philippines’ roster of judges, her fans were set abuzz by the hopes that she might actually be part of it.
