As he headlines his movie Class of 2018 along with former Goin’ Bulilit co-star Sharlene San Pedro, Nash Aguas said that it was easy working with her again since they were partnered together a lot during their younger years. Nash said he and Sharlene also grew closer during the time when he was separating with former love team partner Alexa Ilacad two years ago. Kumbaga magkaiba sila.

The Class of 2018 star said he and Alexa still see each other for work but are not in touch anymore. “Actually nag-mall show kami sa BUM (clothing). Kasi magkasama kami sa BUM di ba? Last month yun. Tapos may mall show din kami next week. Tapos nag-photo shoot kami three weeks ago so okay naman kami. Tama naman yung sinabi niya na we grew up and we grew apart. Pero kasi matagal na yun, mga 2016. Kumabaga napag-usapan naman namin,” he explained.

Even though he was initially hesitant to talk about what happened, Nash shared what created the gap between him and Alexa. “Kasi ako siyempre, at that time, special pa rin kung ano yung meron sa kanya di ba. So ayoko kasing may bad blood. As much as possible nga parang tatlong beses kong nag-try na ayusin. Kumbaga natural naman siguro yung kung hindi nag-work siyempre may tampuhan pero after nun, I made sure na before kami mag-part ways, maging maayos kami. Kumbaga nag-usap kami,” he recalled.

The talented actor said he is happy with how things have become less awkward between them and has accepted how it has changed their relationship as friends. “Kaya ngayon okay na kami. Kaya ngayon nakaka-mall show na kami ng sabay kasi kumbaga, kahit before pa ng interviews namin, kasi di ba ang nakikita niyo lang na interviews yung sa TWBA (Tonight with Boy Abunda)? Before pa nun nakapag-usap na kami. Pero okay kami,” he added.

Watch Nash Aguas in the teen horror suspense film Class of 2018 under T-Rex Entertainment starting November 7 in cinemas nationwide. Also starring Sharlene San Pedro, Kiray Celis, Kristel Fulgar, CJ Navato, and Ethan Salvador.
