Having almost started out in the industry together as child actresses, Miles Ocampo and Sharlene San Pedro said that they are indeed “beshies” for life even off-camera. The two talented artists even enjoy traveling outside the country together along with their families. After going to Australia, they said their next destination will be Korea by next year. “Actually this year dapat pero medyo hindi nagkatugma yung schedule naming dalawa. Hindi natuloy so hopefully next year matuloy na,” Miles shared.During their trips, the girls admits they discover more about each other as they share the experience of seeing new sights together. “Ako yung usually taga-book kasi meron akong kakilala pero pagdating dun siya talaga ang tour guide, hindi kasi marunong sa mga ganung bagay. Ang na-discover ko kay Sharlene dun, sobrang takot niya pala sa mga peacock, sobrang takot niya sa mga ganun, sa mga manok (laughs),” Miles revealed.Sharlene said that when abroad she is usually tasked to ask for directions. “Medyo mahiyain siya magtanong. Pero na-discover namin na matakaw pala kaming dalawa (laughs). Nung pumasok kami sa zoo sobrang natakot ako sa Taronga Zoo sa Australia. Ang na-discover ko naman sa kanya galante pala siya talaga. Sobrang galante. Kahit naman nasa Pilipinas sobrang galante niya talaga. Mahilig siya manlibre, ganun. Nahihiya siya kasi parang bunso, ganyan,” Sharlene said.Unlike other friendships in showbiz that have their ups and downs, Miles said growing up together has strengthened her bond with Sharlene and has given them a deeper understanding of each other’s personalities. “It’s communication talaga. That’s true. Hindi naman all the time kami laging magkasama. Hindi naman lagi din magkausap pero pag nagkausap kami, siguradong walang nagbago,” Sharlene added.
