Teen heartthrob Donny Pangilinan got his fans feeling kilig after he shared his cover of American band LANY's latest single "Malibu Nights" from their second studio album of the same name on his Instagram.

Donny, who did a stripped-down piano version of the song, caught the attention of netizens with his raw, emotionally-stirring rendition of the Los Angeles-based trio's song.

The video, which was “liked” by Vice Ganda and Angelica Panganiban among others, also caught the attention of Kapamilya celebrity and PUSH Now Na host Darla Sauler.

"I hope you continue your music kahit you're acting na," Darla wrote in the comments.

Donny, who is a huge fan of the group, had the opportunity to do an interview with them when he met them back in 2017.

As of writing, the video has already garnered over 190,000 views on his Instagram alone.

Several fans also shared the video on Facebook which amassed thousands of shares and positive reactions.

Meanwhile, Donny has also released a new single called "Green Light" which was also released today, October 12. It became one of the top trending topics on Twitter upon its release on digital streaming platforms.
