Moira Dela Torre admitted on Magandang Buhay on Thursday, January 25, that while she was in America, she almost gave up on pursuing her singing career before joining The Voice of the Philippines in 2013.

“Nagstay po ako dun (sa Amerika) ng six months, tapos may opportunities po kasi sa States. And mas malapit po ako sa pamilya ko at medyo nawawalan na ako ng hope dito pero wala po akong peace na magstay doon,” Moira shared.

She said that she wanted to finish what she started here in the Philippines and that she was hoping that good things will come from her perseverance and waiting.

“Natutunan ko po na waiting isn’t a bad thing,” Moira said. “Looking back at all the waiting now, worth it talaga.”

Moira recently signed with Star Music and will release an album soon. She is also preparing for her two-night first major concert ‘Tagpuan’.
