Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford have now a home to call their own just before their wedding by purchasing a house two months ago. The actress admitted that it has been financially challenging considering that they are also spending for their wedding.
“People were telling us not to do that at the same time, not to buy a house and pay for wedding at the same time. But I’m actually really glad that we got the house at the same time as the wedding. It’s very hard, it’s very financially challenging, super, pero at the same time we give priority to the house rather spending on a day that is just going to last for one day,” she said in an interview with PUSH at the media conference of Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin.
According to the actress, looking and purchasing for a house has been a journey for them as a couple.
“We have been looking since we got engaged so that was more than a year when we started but we only bought the house a couple of months ago, around 2 months ago so it was definitely a journey of its own looking for a house. We learned so much each other and about ourselves while looking for the house. But finally we found one,” she relayed.
The actress shared that they were supposed to build a house but decided later on just to buy one. “We really don’t have the time and the patience for that and we just want to move into a house together already. So what we did is we got a house and we changed everything about it that we didn’t like,” she said.
