Billy Crawford switches talent managers, signs with VIVA

He is very helpful and nice to me through out my journey sa ABS (CBN) and outside ABS as well.

“Actually, sa totoo lang, kami ni Arnold, we don’t have a contract together. It’s just verbal agreement,” pahayag ni Billy.

“Siguro, for me it’s a new beginning. Bago, eh, especially this year na ikakasal na ako.

“There’s a lot of changes in my life where I need to focus on my performance, my work, and also my albums, my songwriting, my production.

“Sa tingin ko, titriple yung trabaho ko. The platform kasi, lahat nasa Viva, eh. It’s really wide, it’s global.

“I figured that I needed something new. I’m not getting any younger, I’m 35 this year,” katwiran ni Billy.

Aniya, “A lot of my friends are also from Viva. Nagkataon lang na, siguro the decision that I made was quite drastic, mabilisan.”

Dati pa, since bumalik ako, my first Tagalog movie was Moron 5 ng Viva. So, since then, we’ve always just been talking, they’ve been so helpful with me—sa tours ni Sarah (Geronimo) sa US and Europe.

“I’ve always been close with Viva, and yon nga, it’s a new chapter in my life, it’s a new page and this page I think and I thought na siguro I have to start fresh, I have to start new.”

In all honesty, ako ang nag-reach out sa Viva. I’m the who called Ms. Veronique, I was the one who called Boss Vic and everyone,” diin niya.

Yon yung para sa akin, wow, I’m actually given the opportunity, the freedom to be myself sa album.

“Kasi it was a long process, eh. I’ve been recording and recording and recording, and I just felt na hindi ako yon. Okay, then I can do what I want. I can record as many songs as I want. Puwede akong magsulat, mag-collaborate and puwede rin akong magsulat for other artists.

“‘Yon yung uunahin namin dito, continuing what I have now with ABS, for hostings, tapos siguro more performing.

I want to do a concert with Sarah. It’s one of my biggest goals, to actually do a back-to-back concert with Sarah. So yon ang pangarap ko. One step at a time, hindi naman kami nagmamadali,” umaasang pahayag ni Billy sa PUSH.
