Ever since he started working with his mom Sylvia Sanchez on the teleserye Hanggang Saan, Arjo Atayde admitted there was really no adjustment to their onscreen relationship.
“No problem really because my mom’s very professional. She’s been there for how many years so I’ll just separate the personal life from the characters. Work is work, you got to do what you got to do,” he told PUSH.
The actor shared that his mom is actually even more bubbly when they are at home. “She’s also makulit, super kulit. The way they see her super prim and proper, but when we get to the house she’s super kulit they don’t know. Like me they think I’m serious but when I’m close to people obviously, when I feel comfortable talking to the person that’s when my lightness comes out also,” he said.
For 2018, Arjo said he does not want to worry too much about the future.
“I think I’ll take it one step at a time. It’s a journey for me and I’m enjoying every step of it and I’ll take care of it. I won’t look forward because I might just be disappointed. So instead, whatever they give me I’ll do my best because you will just be as good as your last project so I’ll work it out then,” he shared.
