EXCLUSIVE: Moi Bien on Sharon Cuneta wanting to produce a movie for her: ‘Feeling ko tumaas yung confidence ko’

During the Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha presscon held last September 4 inside ABS-CBN, lead star Sharon Cuneta was very vocal about how impressed she was with her co-star Moi Bien who plays the role of her househelp Bebang in the original Cinemalaya dramedy. During the event, the Megastar even shared plans of wanting to produce a movie that puts Moi in a starring role for the very first time. Moi admitted she was surprised by the revelation. Sobrang nakaka-overwhelm,” she told PUSH.

After her experience shooting with Sharon for the first time and having the movie become the top grossing film at the festival, Moi said it really changed her mindset on and off camera.

Still currently employed as Piolo Pascual’s personal assistant for more than a decade now, Moi said PJ was happy and supportive of her biggest acting break to date. (laughs)’ Sobrang tawang-tawa. Hindi kasi ako sine-seryoso nun eh. Sobrang tawang-tawa siya,” she recalled.

When she first made her mark as a comedian in Kimmy Dora in 2009, Moi said she had no formal background in acting and just had a simple approach to every new role given to her. Basta kaya ko ‘to!’

With the positive reviews she has been getting in Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha, Moi said she is thankful and promised never to let the fame get to her head.
