During her Star Cinema presscon for the commercial release of her indie film Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha, Sharon Cuneta surprised the press when she admitted she was going through a very challenging time in her life at the moment.

“It’s normal I think. Lahat naman tayo mga human beings di ba we go through periods? May pinagdaanan. Meron. At saka hindi lang isa, hindi lang dalawa, marami. Na-o-overwhelm lang ako tapos kasabay pa ng trabaho. Kasi iba eh pag sa akin turbo dumarating ang problema. Kailangan sabay-sabay (laughs). Sunod-sunod hindi kagaya ng regular na tao. Parang when it’s us it’s magnified so minsan yung pribado, parang hindi naman kayo magtatanong sa hindi artista kung ano yung pinagdaraanan. So parang nagpapahinga yung puso pag merong trabaho. Kaya gusto ko mag-shooting na eh. At saka pag si Robin kasama mo masaya,” she shared.

The Megastar, who is making her big screen comeback after eight years, looked emotional during the press conference held last September 4 inside ABS-CBN. The 51-year-old actress was asked to react to rumors claiming her marriage to Senator Kiko Pangilinan was already on the rocks.

“Well people will always speculate so whether I deny or admit or give a reason or say something else they’ll always believe what they want to believe so I think ilang beses ko na rin nasabi, wala namang perpektong marriage. So ganun lang naman yun. Pero marami pa hindi lang naman yun ang pwedeng problema eh ‘di ba?” she remarked.

In one of her recent social media posts, Sharon posted something that kept her fans further guessing about her troubled personal life.
“It’s true (money can’t buy happiness). But it’s better to be sad and have something to buy something with (laughs) okay na rin yun. Kahit malungkot ka at least kung meron kang konting naipon puwede ka mag-shopping, ganun. Pwede ka mag-parlor, kumain sa labas kasama friends mo, ganun, cousins mo,” she said.

To her fans, Sharon relayed she wants to focus on the good things in her life right now. Aside from the September 6 nationwide release of her comeback film Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha, her upcoming reunion movie with Robin Padilla will start shooting soon.

“I’m okay. Please don’t worry about me. I’m always okay. My God I have been to and through hell and back and I’ve come out stronger so whatever I go through now in my life I will still come out strong and willing and happy to work,” she stated.
