Sue Ramirez reveals Kris Aquino is her horror movie actress inspiration

Sue Ramirez is headlining her very first horror movie The Debutantes. The actress confessed that making a movie in this genre was challenging.“It is my first time at ang hirap pala gumawa ng horror, sobra. Kaya talagang praying ako na manood silang lahat dahil pinaghirapan talaga namin ‘yung pelikula,” she said in an interview with PUSH.Though admitting the difficulties that come along with doing a horror film, Sue remarked that overall, it was a great learning experience“[I learned na] you shouldn’t care what you look like on screen siguro. [I learned na] maraming variations ang takot. May subtle lang, may takot na takot. ‘Yun ang natutunan ko kay direk Prime (Cruz) na bigyan mo ng variations ‘yung mga reaksyon na nilalagay mo sa pelikula dahil hindi pwedeng pag-umiyak ka, extreme na agad ‘yung iyak mo sa pelikula. May levels talaga siya,” she said.She added, Masaya talaga gumawa ng horror, kakapagod lang siya siyempre sa movie kailangan paulit-ulit so nakakawala ng boses do'n pero masaya, overall masaya.”Asked about the horror movie actress she looks up to, she revealed that she’s inspired by Kris Aquino.“In fairness si Kris Aquino magaling talaga siya mag-horror. As in I’m a big fan of Feng Shui. Do'n nakita ko ‘yung levels, hindi agad takot na takot. Makikita mo rin ‘yung mata, ang galing eh. Tapos ‘yung boses niya pa bilang character. Talagang ‘yung boses ni Kris Aquino tatatak talaga kung papano siya sumigaw, kung papano siya magsalita. ‘Yung nginig ng boses niya, marami ngang gumagaya, pero effective eh, effective siya sa horror films ,” she stated.
