Former The Voice Philippines runner-up and now contestant on the X-Factor UK Alisah Bonaobra wowed judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne with her version of Beyonce’s “Listen.” “I always think, you know, that a lot of people where you are from are amazing singers,” Simon said even before Alisah began her audition. Nicole, who has Filipino heritage, gave Alisah a standing ovation. “I am crying because I come from humble beginnings as well. You’re just gorgeous. You know you’re this tiny little thing with a voice given from God, this unbelievable gift, blowing everybody away. I connect with you and everybody … it’s a yes for you and all the Filipinos out there,” the former Pussycat Dolls member said. Alisah got four yeses and will be moving on to the next round of the competition.
