Sunshine Cruz says her annulment case with Cesar Montano is still ongoing

During her new management contract signing, Sunshine Cruz said she was happy to join the ALV Talent Circuit family which also manages the showbiz career of her eldest daughter Isabella. The decision was also brought about by her former manager Alfie Lorenzo passing away last August. “Siya talaga yung naging manager ko when I was still single hanggang sa nagbalik showbiz ako. But of course dahil nga sa mga pangyayari I just needed someone na mag-aalaga, pro-protekta sa akin at maganda rin naman na kahit 40 years old na tayo meron pa rin isang tao na magbibigay ng direction sa ating career especially now that I’m a single mom. I just want the direction pagdating sa career ko,” she shared.

When it comes to her personal life, Sunshine made it clear to the press that she would rather not talk about estranged husband Cesar Montano with whom she still has an ongoing annulment case. During the ALV contract signing, Sunshine could not deny her disappointment in her ex, especially when it came to her daughters’ relationship with him. “Hindi naman nila hinahanap eh. I’m so sorry ha, hindi sa nilalayo ko sila. Puwedeng puwede nila makita, tawagan, makasama yung ex ko any time. But I just hope also that there will also be an effort from the father. Yun lang naman ang hiling ko. Sino ba naman ang nanay na may ayaw na may relasyon ang tatay sa mga anak?” she explained.

The Wildflower actress did not want to elaborate further on their family situation and instead focused on rebuilding her career and raising her three daughters well. “Hanggang dun lang sasabihin ko. Basta yun lang ang aking mensahe and prayer ko yun. Hoping na maging maayos. Kasi ano pa bang hihilingin ko ngayon? Masaya naman ako sa buhay ko and I know that he is also happy so I just hope that he will have more effort lang pagdating sa mga anak namin. Tutal legitimate naman yung mga anak namin at magagaling naman sa eskuwela, mababait na bata. Yun lang,” she added.

With a busy career and a life devoted to her three daughters Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Francheska, Sunshine said she tries her best to have a close relationship with her girls. “May bonding time kami. May kulitan time kami. Pero when it comes to pag kailangan ko maging strict I talk to them and they know how to listen. Automatic na yan eh. Kasi sabi ko, ‘Anak please lang, it’s not easy to be a mother and a father at the same time.’ And what I am doing is not for me. I’m 40 years old pa, pabalik na ako kayo papunta pa lang. So kung ano ang ina-advise ko is not for me pero para sa kabutihan ninyo and sino ba namang magulang ang gusto na hidni maganda ang mangyari sa mga anak,” she said.
