Sharon Cuneta clarifies alleged snubbing incident after ‘The Voice Teens’

“Can you please not believe the rumours na I snubbed everybody after Team Sarah and Jona won on The Voice Teens?”

This was ‘Megastar’ Sharon Cuneta’s opening line as she explained her side on the alleged snubbing incident during the grand finale of The Voice Teens two weeks ago, July 30.

And kino-comfort ko noon ay si Jeremy. I don't even remember if I hugged Lala too. In short I didn't have the chance,” she said, mentioning that she was also sick during that time.

The seasoned actress-singer then started venting out her feelings about the alleged bashing that she has been receiving from some of Sarah Geronimo’s fans.

Lumalaban lang ako pag kailangan, pero bihirang-bihira yon over almost 40 years. Bakit pinalalaki ito o inumpisahan man lang?”

Saying that Sarah is just like her younger sibling, Sharon recounted the times that she defended her in the past.

I am proud of Sarah. I congratulated her and Jona here on FB.”

She then pleaded the fans to stop bashing her.

“You are hurting me for no reason.

The ‘Megastar’ also reminded fans that the way they act and speak, reflect on their idol. “That is why I am proud of my Sharonians.

“Napakabilis niyo naman makalimot ng mag ipinakita kong kabutihan kay Sarah over the years.

She also said that she and fellow coach Lea Salonga are okay.

In the end, Sharon, who lamented over personal issues, reiterated her request for fans to stop the hate.
