Mutya ng Pilipinas crowns new queens for 2017


 

Standout ang 30 Pinay beauties sa naganap na 49th grand coronation ng Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 sa Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila.

Wagi ang kandidata mula Cebu na si llene Astrid de Vera, Mass Communication graduate, bilang Mutya ng Pilipinas Miss Asia Pacific International.

"I'm really very happy and I didn't even expect to win. This is my first pageant and I'm really proud to represent my hometown," sabi pa nito.

Ang taga-Navotas na si Jannie Loudete Alipo-on ang nanalo na Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism International. TV5 segment host si Jannie na pangalawang beses na sumali sa Mutya.

"Hindi ako makapaniwala kasi this is my second time, and finally may korona na ako," pahayag pa niya.

First runner-up naman ang crowd favorite na nagmula sa Pateros na si Angela Carla Sandigan.

Nagwagi bilang second runner-up ang Mutya ng Albay at Star Magic artist na si Sofia Marie Sibug.

Lalaban naman para sa Top Model of the World si Mutya ng Isabela na si Hannah Khayle Iglesia.

Nag-uwi din ng special awards ang mga sumusunod na Mutya beauties:

People’s Choice Award: Angela Carla Sandigan of Pateros

Camera Club of the Philippines Award: Jannie Loudette Alipo-on of Navotas

CWC International Award: Sofia Marie Sibug of Albay

Best Designer Award: Rian Fernandez worn by Sandrianne Esquilona of Tarlac

Resorts World Manila Award: Ilene Astrid de Vera of Cebu
