Alice Dixson wants to start a family: ‘God will give us that blessing soon’

After holding her first ever charity bowling event earlier this month, Alice Dixson said all her efforts were worth the outcome. “So I had a charity bowling event for the benefit of Kalipay orphanage in Bacolod and I’m so grateful to everybody who came and supported. We raised money for them and we raised a lot of awareness din and we had a lot of sponsors who have become interested for the next one so we’re targeting January or February next year for the next Alice Dixson Charity Bowl,” she shared during the Watsons Time to Renew event in Ortigas.At 48 years old, many still envy Alice for her bikini-ready body which she isn’t shy about revealing on social media. Alice said with age comes confidence to look and feel good about yourself. “Let’s just say that about 10 years ago I was overweight by at least mga eight pounds or maybe more and it was very difficult to feel good about yourself when you’re overweight. So naniniwala ako na if you look your best you’ll feel your best and it will come out in your confidence as well,” she said.Currently happy with her longtime non-showbiz beau, Alice said being content with her personal life has also contributed to her inner and outer glow. “My heart is very happy (laughs). I think when you are naturally feeling good about yourself and feeling confident, your heart is overfilled with joy din. So naniniwala ako when you’re feeling good about yourself you’re also happy because your heart is happy din,” she explained.Alice also admitted that she wants to start a new phase in her life very soon. “I’ve been wanting to start a family for a long time. Hindi lang natutuloy but we’re still trying and hopefully it will happen. God will give us that blessing soon,” she added.Aside from attending various showbiz events and commitments, Alice said she is also busy wrapping up a horror movie as well as gearing up to be part of a new soap. “Kakatapos ko lang ng movie called Ghost Bride with Star Cinema under Chito Roño with Kim Chiu. Well hindi naman talaga ako nawawala it’s just that namimili talaga ako ng project. Tulad ng meron akong teleserye coming up din probably by the end of the year so abangan natin yan. I can’t tell you more but I do want to let you know and yung mga fans ko that have been waiting for this, it’s coming out very soon,” she shared.
