Aiko Melendez confirms recent encounter with Iranian ex-boyfriend

Aiko Melendez didn't bat an eyelash as she confirmed that she and her ex-boyfriend Shahin Alimirzapour crossed paths at a bar in Taguig last August 19.The <a href='http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/wildflower/main'>Wildflower</a> actress shared that she went to the bar to pickup her son Andre along with her friend, actor Ken Alfonso."The reason why I went to that place, The Revel, was because my son was there, with the big group. So, I saw him [Shahin] there. I said, ‘Hi, hello,’ ganyan-ganyan," she shared in an interview with PEP.She pointed out that Ken was really just her friend. Aiko and Shahin parted ways almost a year ago.According to her, the night actually started really pleasant for her."I can’t say na I felt violated but, you know... Siya ang pumunta kasi sa amin eh sa grupo namin. He went to our table, I said, ‘Hello, hi,'" she recalled.She continued, “He [Shahin] approached us and, suddenly, bigla na lang tina-trash talk niya si Ken."Aiko felt the need to step in upon seeing her friend being heckled by Shahin.“Ang point ko lang, sana lang respect my friends, kasi wala na naman tayo. So, I told him, ‘Shahin, stop it.' Luckily, he listened, kaya lang natulak niya yung kaibigan ko."A frustrated Aiko underscored that she is hoping not to experience something like that again in the future."Minsan na nga lang ako lumalabas, makikita ko na nga lang siya minsan, may ganun pa? Kailangan ko rin namang ipagtanggol si Ken," she said.The seasoned star added, "Nakakabastos yung ginawa niya dun sa kaibigan ko."Aiko eventually found out the underlying cause of Shahin's approach towards her and Ken."Alam mo, ang puno’t dulo nga daw, sabi ng common friend namin, kasi daw hindi ko man lang siya binati nung birthday niya," she shared.While she admitted that she forgot his birthday, she reiterated, “Pero hindi naman magandang kapalit yung tampo is manulak siya nung kaibigan ko na wala namang kinalaman.”In the end, Aiko shared that she and Shahin have yet to talk to each other after their bar encounter.
