Karla Estrada on sons Daniel and JC Padilla: ‘Ang sarap lang na nagpe-pay off ‘yung mga pinaghirapan mo’

Karla Estrada confessed she became emotional when she attended the graduation of her son JC Padilla recently. The Magandang Buhay host remarked that her son really prioritized his education.

Now that JC has graduated, Karla relayed that her son will be venturing into music next.

Meanwhile, Karla is also proud of her other son Daniel Padilla who is now also an entrepreneur aside from being an actor. Together with his business partners, Daniel opened a gastropub called District 8 recently. “Sobrang nakaka-proud [si Daniel] kasi alam mo naman na ‘yung anak ko at least at a very young age talagang naisip na niya na makisosyo sa isang business na maayos,” she said.

Did Daniel ask for her advice regarding venturing into business?

Karla added that since the age of 19, she had already allowed Daniel to make decisions for himself. “Nong nag-start siya ng 19 years old, pinabayaan ko na siyang mag-desisyon ng sarili niya. Ginagabay-gabayan ko na lang. Kung medyo may konting sablay sasabihan ko ‘di ba?” she said.

Now that two of her sons have achieved success, Karla remarked that it feels great that all her sacrifices have paid off.

“Ang sarap lang na nagpe-pay off ‘yung mga pinaghirapan mo, ‘yung mga iniluha mo, ‘yung mga itinawa mo na kahit masakit nakangiti ka, nagpe-pay off. I think talaga sa buhay titingnan natin ‘yung positibong kakahinatnan,” she stated.
