Cora Waddell is set to star in the upcoming film 'Woke Up Like This'. The former 'Pinoy Big Brother' housemate remarked that she had such a great experience working on her first project with Regal Entertainment.
“I feel very lucky and it’s my first movie with Regal and big artists are in it and such a good direction and the production for the movie is amazing. Sobrang saya din kasi I got a good one, ang saya ng taping namin, laugh trip lagi and feeling ko it was a very lucky project, sobrang saya, and I don’t think na most tapings are as fun as light as this movie was,” she said in an interview with PUSH.
Before joining PBB and bagging acting projects, Cora was a thriving local and international model. Even with her busy schedule now in showbiz, Cora stressed that she will still do modeling.
“Right now we are focusing on the acting and we will come back on the modeling because I think it is a good risk to take na investment on my acting and see where will it take me and go back to modeling, kasi I really exhausted most of my options on modelling and I was all lockout. I did pretty much every kind of job you could do as a model just not sexy photoshoots so yeah I will just try acting muna, get the hang of it and see what I can do with that and the modeling will come,” she relayed.
Will she ever join a beauty pageant? “That’s not for me, I never saw myself as a graceful or poised woman, I’m medyo prangka, it’s not for me. I’m happy with the movies and modeling,” she replied.
Cora was also asked about his friend, former PBB housemate Wil Dasovich who revealed recently that he was sick. “Yes I heard. We talked a lot before PBB but after PBB he is very busy and I’m also doing tapings but we messaged through comments and private messaging. But I’ve heard he is in the States and I have hopes kasi he is eating a vegan diet which I know will help his body a lot more than he might realized so his sister is a very good influence on him,” she said.
Cora hopes that her friend will recover soon. “Wil, I hope you get better, mag-ingat ka. Ikaw ‘yung laging nagvi-vitamins, nage-exercise, ingat din sa mga kinakain mo. Hopefully you get better soon. Alam mo naman love na love kita,” she stated.
