Aniya, “When I talked to Jonathan (Manalo) and to Roxy (Liquigan) ng Star Music, sabi ko, parang mas maganda nga na iba ang producer niya and we all agreed na she should have another producer and that’s Marion Aunor.”

“Mas okay kasi kung someone who’s much younger than I am. They have the same language, probably have the same sentiments.

Patuloy ni Ogie, “Kahit sabihin ng anak ko, ‘Dad, can you write this song’ para kasing it’s not going to sound like it’s coming from her.

“So my advice to her was write from your heart because a lot of young kids today they want something positive.

“And my daughter who’s 19 years old has a lot of that positive energy. Yon lang ang sabi ko sa kanya, release that—she has a credible writing skill and a wonderful heart—and I just told her to use that and yon naman ang nangyari.”

The songs are amazing.

“Kasi, unang-una old school ako.

But I have to say, coz I’m a Spotify addict, I use it all the time for everything, for workout, pag gusto nang matulog ng anak ko, when I want to listen to K-Pop.

“It’s really, really a great product, so I have to say ang ganda niyang gamitin. Instantly, people who love music or want to listen to music, kung mahilig ka sa music, ando’n na kaagad di ba? So yung convenience noon is really amazing and I appreciate that,” mahaba niyang paliwanag sa PUSH.
