Turns out that Luis Manzano “pulled a prank” on girlfriend Jessy Mendiola before giving her his anniversary gift.<a href='http://push.abs-cbn.com/2017/6/27/fresh-scoops/jessy-mendiola-cries-after-receiving-anniversary-g-164479'>Luis’s recent post featuring a crying Jessy set netizens abuzz.</a>“Kasi that morning, sabi ko, ‘I’m not giving you anything,’” he said in an interview with PEP.According to Luis, he sensed that Jessy seemed to want her own dog."Sinabi ko na, ‘Wala, wala tayong kukunin na aso. Okay na ako, marami na akong inaalagaan na aso, ayoko nang magdagdag,’” he related.The host continued, “Hindi niya alam, nandun pala sa bahay the whole time. Pagdating nga sa bahay, nandun na nga yung aso.”Apparently, Jessy had never had her own pet dog. He added, "Mayroon silang family dog, pero never siyang nagkaroon ng sarili niya.”Luis said that the dog Chewy is going to be their “baby.”Instead of going for a really grandiose celebration, the couple quietly marked their first anniversary by doing a “staycation.”“We were thinking we go out of the country pero it will be very, very difficult. Gusto niyang mag-ikot, hindi kaya ng paa ko.
