KZ Tandingan shares how she overcomes criticisms about her looks and music

KZ Tandingan reacted to a netizen’s comment criticizing her appearance. On her Facebook account, the Kapamilya singer wrote a lengthy response to the comment and revealed that it was not the first time that she received such a hurtful remark. She also shared how she overcomes criticisms in her life.

KZ relayed that she messaged the mom of the netizen who posted the comment. The singer wrote that similar incidents have happened before and she relayed how she got past the negative comments.

“Seryoso, kana na mga comments along with others na ug dili sa akong music na dili nila ma gets ang gina tira, diri sa akong dagway ang yawyaw maoy sud-an nako kada adlaw. Pero what gets me by? Mag ampo ug storyahon nako akong kaugalingon after nako makabasa ug maka dungog ug mga ingun ana. Do you. Do what makes you happy. Pero what gets me by? Do you. Do what makes you happy.

She added, “Not everyone is going to understand you, appreciate the things that you appreciate, ana gyud nang kinabuhi (ganyan talaga ang buhay). Some people will tell you you're no good because you're different and you're not like everybody else.”

KZ ended her post encouraging everyone to embrace their own kind of beautiful. “Isipin mo na the people who really matter are those who look beyond your imperfections and your weird choices in life, but those who see every side of you and still stick with you, because you are beautiful as you are.”
