<p> </p><p>We've all heard the saying, "A dog is a man's bestfriend."</p><p>This is specifically true for actress-blogger Nikki Gil-Albert who is vocal about her love for her Golden Retriever named Charlie who recently turned six years old.</p><p>Indeed, Charlie has been with Nikki through her ups and downs. In her blog post about finding a "girlfriend" for Charlie in 2016, Nikki wrote, "When I'm sad, Charlie is quick to run and lay next to me and my miserable self to keep me company. He is also a very good listener. On several occasions, I've found myself talking to Charlie about my day, about why I'm tired or why I'm crying.
