‘Kita Kita’ has already earned 100 million pesos at the box office.
Alessandra De Rosi and Empoy Marquez’s movie Kita Kita is now a certified blockbuster hit after it reached the 100 million mark on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. The movie has received rave reviews as well from moviegoers. The lead stars extended their gratitude to everyone who supported their film and made it successful. “Masaya kami sa lahat ng sumusuporta, hindi namin in-expect,” Alessandra said in an interview with PUSH. Empoy added, “We feel na so very blessed, so very happy.”
Asked what was the secret to their effective onscreen chemistry, Alessandra commented that it all boils down to being natural.
Will they star in another project together after Kita Kita? “Of course. May naririnig akong chismis na Iceland (Kita Kita was filmed in Japan) ang next nating na gagawin so sana, sana. Bakit naman hindi? Pero ‘yun nga ang maganda sa amin ganito lang kami masaya lang,” she said.
Empoy also reacted to the comments of netizens that he is now the new heartthrob.
