Dianne Medina on the secret to her relationship with Rodjun Cruz: ‘We practice abstinence’

Despite being constantly hounded by questions about her wedding plans with longtime boyfriend Rodjun Cruz, Dianne Medina admitted she is not pressured to give an answer all these years. “We’ve been together for 10 years now. We’re going to celebrate our 10th year anniversary in July. We’re very happy naman. Everything’s good. Actually going strong naman kami. No plans yet of settling down. Still waiting for Rodjun’s plan kung ano man yun para I can support him. I’m doing good. I’m very happy with my life right now,” she shared during the grand launch of Success Mall word-of-mouth shopping community held last June 24 in Pasig.The 30-year-old actress said her idea of a dream wedding is very simple but close to her heart. “Sobrang simple lang. Gusto ko kung ano lang yung sa mommy ko ganun lang. Manila Cathedral ang church and then reception kahit anong hotel lang kahit hindi Manila Hotel. My mom is very special to me. She passed away. So lahat ng nangyari kay mommy like kung saan siya kinasal gusto ko doon din,” she admitted.Keeping herself healthy is also one of Dianne’s priorities as well as helping out in the family business. “I had a check up and lumabas dun na mataas ang cholesterol ko so I’m cutting down on food that is high in fat so may low-calorie program ako ngayon. So wala muna carbs, healthy living muna and gulay. And I drink only shake pag dinner. I’m also helping my sister out with a slimming, beauty and wellness center. So dun nakatutok ngayon yung dad ko and my sister. Our endorser is Maxine Medina Miss Universe 2016,” she shared.Dianne said that even if she and Rodjun have been going out for a long time, there is no chance of her getting pregnant before marriage because of her religion. “You just have to find the right person who will love you unconditionally. I’m part of the lecter commentator now in our church. I’m devout Catholic hindi po talaga puwede. We practice abstinence as much as possible,” she said.
