Arci Muñoz was one of the stars previously rumored to be in the running to play Darna. Now that it has been revealed that Liza Soberano will portray the iconic super heroine, Arci was asked about her reaction to it. The actress remarked that Liza is the best choice for the role.“I think it really fits her, kay Liza. And it’s a big shoe to fill, Angel (Locsin) is always going to be, di ba everybody’s Darna? But I think Liza is never going to be second best. She is going to give justice to the part for sure. A lot of people love Liza di ba? And I heard she’s undergoing naman training ngayon eh. Mahirap naman talaga ‘yun punan, mahirap ‘yung part na ‘yan but I think Liza is the best,” she said in an interview with <a href='/'>PUSH</a>.Arci is starring again with Gerald Anderson in the much anticipated Star Cinema film titled Can We Still Be Friends? “Alam naman nating lahat at hindi natin maiiwasan na makumpara ‘yung team up namin sa Always Be My Maybe but I think it is not a disadvantage. I think it is really a good thing,” she said.Arci narrated that the movie is about the “anatomy of a breakup”. She explained, “It’s a story about a couple na who’s been together for eight years and ‘yung mga challenges na usually talaga pinagdadaanan ng mag-boyfriend and girlfriend na nasa long term na relationship. Alam mo ‘yun may mga time talaga na may hahanapin ka or may makakapante and sa story parang it’s just you also learn to accept ‘yung mga maliliit na pagkukulang ng isa’t-isa just to be able to save the relationship and make it work,” she shared.The actress confessed that she was elated to team up again with Gerald. “I’ve always wanted to work with him again, even before Always Be My Maybe. Actually ‘yung dad ko talaga he really wants Ge. I told him that the first time and to be able to work with him again, I was really excited,” she stated.
