McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson give an update on their new soap
Will McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson leave ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ soon as their new soap starts airing?
McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson are already taping for their new soap Kung Kailangan Mo Ako.
“Yun nga sana masama rin ang song sa teleserye. Pero ngayon, ongoing na kami sa taping,” said McCoy during the listening session of his new single with Elisse titled “If We Fall In Love,” which is a revival of Yeng Constantino’s song with RJ Jimenez.
McCoy and Elisse were among the teen stars who were previously announced to be part of the said soap along with Joshua Garcia, Elmo Magalona, Janella Salvador, Nash Aguas, and Alexa Ilacad.
The Hashtags member, however, added, “Pero hindi pa naman alam kung kelan ang specific na date na ipapalabas.”
As of the moment, McCoy and Elisse, also known as McLisse, are currently part of the second book of the primetime soap FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano starring Coco Martin.
To this Elisse said, “Actually, hindi pa naman kami namamatay.”
“Or nagpupunta sa ibang bansa,” McCoy added.
McCoy and Elisse are both grateful to have been added to the second book of the hit show.
“Nung nagsimula kasi ‘yung book 2 sinama naman kami sa early episodes. Hindi ko lang alam kung saan na papunta kapag nagsimula na [mag-air ‘yung isa,” said Elisse.
McCoy and Elisse left the show for a time when they returned inside the yellow house as Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 housemates.
But after their stint on the reality show, Elisse and McCoy were immediately included back into the show.
“Ayun grinab ko na ‘yung opportunity na ‘yun kasi akala ko nga papatayin na ako,” said McCoy.
McCoy, who plays the role of JP, was even kidnapped during his comeback episode.
“Pero nakita ko naman ‘yung istorya and nabigyan ako ng chance para maipakita ko ang talent ko sa action kasi gusto ko rin talaga ang action. Kaya thankful rin ako talaga sa Probinsyano family,” he ended.
