Former teen star Jiro Manio has reportedly left the rehabilitation facility even before his program ended.
In a report by columnist Lolit Solis on her column at the Pilipino Star Ngayon on Wednesday, Jiro supposedly left the Bataan wellness facility where comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas brought him for recovery.
It was mid 2015 when Ai Ai “rescued” her son in the blockbuster franchise Tanging Ina from his extreme bout against depression after being found homeless at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
According to the report, Jiro formally expressed his decision to leave the facility’s management in order to be able to spend time with his family in Manila.
The report added that since Jiro, 25, is already of legal age, the facility cannot overturn his decision to leave.
Nevertheless, Jiro, according to the report, promised to assist in the rehabilitation facility’s advocacy even if he is with his family in Manila.
It may be recalled that a couple of months ago, the blockbuster actress voted against the desire of Jiro’s family to get him released from the facility.
Knowing that she can only do so much, Ai Ai just hoped that the former Magnifico star would decide against it.
