On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Lee O’Brien revealed how excited he is to become a father to his first child with actress-comedienne Pokwang. “I’m absolutely excited. For many years I didn’t even think I’d be a father, to be honest. It wasn’t like I hadn’t planned on it. I just haven’t met the woman.”
According to Lee, if the baby is a boy, “The first name will be William because of my family. That’s a tradition we have going back a few generations.” And if the baby is a girl, “We are thinking of honoring her mother with her name.”
Asked if he has been talking marriage with Pokwang, Lee said, “We are. It’s something I see most probably happening. First things first. Right now we got nine months of focus.” The couple lost their first baby and because of Pokwang’s age (Pokwang is 44 years old), her pregnancy is deemed delicate.
Lee also said the two things he realized about Pokwang since he has been living in the country are, “First, how ridiculously talented she is and second, how much her colleagues, her friends, and the public just adore her.”
