Inigo Pascual stressed that there is no competition between himself and James Reid when it comes to music. He emphasized that he actually supports James on his musical venture.“I’m excited actually about his music as well. I’ve heard some of his upcoming music and I guess sa tao na lang ‘yung competitiveness but between us I don’t think magkakaroon ng ganong competition between us. I support his music. The guy always tells me every time he sees me perform in <a href='http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/asap/main'>ASAP</a> he always tells me ‘Good job’. He congratulates me for my music and the same goes for him,” he said.Inigo added that he would rather want them to come together as OPM musicians to make the industry even better and bigger.Inigo’s father, actor Piolo Pascual, has always been supportive of his passion which he is very thankful for. “He has always been happy for me with everything that I’ve been doing ever since I started doing music. Talagang alam niya na ito ‘yung gusto kong gawin so he is always supportive with everything that I choose to do,” he said.The Kapamilya singer felt fulfilled to bring joy to his dad through his craft. His single “Dahil Sa’yo” recently topped the Billboard Philippines Charts.“Sobrang saya ako na I was able to make him happy through that and I’m able to make him proud and you know he’s been by my side every step of the way and it is a big deal para sa akin and to know that he appreciated what I’m doing and he’s there to support me that’s basically it. Sobrang thankful ako na kasama ko siya,” he stated.
