Nasa ika-apat na taon na ang Miss Manila pageant. The search is not only looking for a woman of beauty, but also of empowerment who personifies social awareness and embodies a true Manileña with grace, passion and optimism.Just recently, humarap sa entertainment press ang 30 naggagandahang kandidata ng Miss Manila 2017 and in fairness, they were all stunning. Rumampa sila sa Rigodon ballroom ng Manila Hotel at nagkaroon pa ng photo op kasama si Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada at ang big boss ng Viva na si Vic del Rosario.Palaban ang mga kandidata this year at may kani-kanya silang advocacies para sa lungsod ng Maynila. Ang ilan sa kanila ay mahuhusay ding sumagot at puwede nang lumaban sa national pageant tulad ng Miss World Philippines, Mutya ng Pilipinas at Binibining Pilipinas.Meanwhile, kapartner ng City of Manila at MARE Foundation ang VIVA Live sa paghahatid ng Miss Manila 2017 na gaganapin ang coronation night sa June 24, mismong Araw Ng Maynila at ipapalabas sa ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best on June 25 pagktapos ng Gandang Gabi Vice.Miss Manila 2017 will receive P1M worth of prizes, consisting of a management contract and P500,000 in cash and a contract with Viva; 1st Runner-Up (P350,000 cash); 2nd Runner-Up (P250,00 cash); 3rd Runner-Up (P150,000 cash) and 4th Runner-Up (P100,000 cash).The official candidates for Miss Manila 2017 are:1.
