Jodi recently enrolled in Southville International School and Colleges and is taking up Psychology as her premedical program.
“Human behavior really interests me. I want to be able to first and foremost understand myself better and, secondly, to be able to understand and help people,” she shared in an interview with her own website. (Exclusive: Jodi Sta. Maria Shares Dream of Finishing Studies)
Just like any other student, the actress has already met her professors and gotten her ID. With the help of the school’s INNOVE program, Jodi could still balance her work and studies.
“Since it’s an INNOVE program (home school program), I am only required to attend school once a week then the rest would be online meetings with my professors and modules,” she said.
After finishing her studies, she also shared that she wants to be a guidance counselor.
“I want to be able to work as a guidance counselor or a rehabilitation specialist,” she said.
“I’m doing this not only to be a good example and role model to my son Thirdy but also to be equipped and skilled in dealing with broken people. I really want to be able to help and make a difference in the lives of others,” she added.
