Barbie Hsu catapulted to popularity in the Philippines when Meteor Garden premiered in the country back in 2003. Barbie played the role of Shan Cai, a simple high school girl whose life changed when she met the popular and rich group of boys called F4. It has been more 14 years since Meteor Garden hit Philippine television, but Barbie has still a lot of followers in the country.
