Inaasahan na ng marami na mahusay na magagampanan ni Ria ang role bilang Dra. Gia sa nasabing serye. May mangilan-ngilan pa ding hindi nakakaalam na si Ria ay anak ng premyadong aktres na si Sylvia Sanchez at kapatid ng equally award-winning actor Arjo Atayde."Naiintindihan ko naman, kasi di pa talaga ako exposed sa TV," sabi ni Ria."Last year lang ako nag-start, tapos this year lang talaga ako napanood sa primetime."Sa Twitter nga, may nababasa pa akong, "Sino yun?". So, ako naman, wow, sige gusto ko yan, kasi pilot week lang. Nagulat lang ako kasi, 1 day nga lang, pero grabe naman yung eksena. With Tita Coney (Reyes) tapos iyakan pa."Hindi ako ready sa ganung scenes, buti na lang, binigyan nila ako ng acting workshop with my co-actors. So, kahit papa'no talagang na familiarize ako sa character ko. Plus the fact na friend ko si Zanjoe (Marudo) who was really supportive."Then they called me up again, after a few weeks, saying na mapapaaga yung pagbabalik ng character ko. I sat down with our boss, Ms. Julie Anne (Benitez) and her team. The following days, shoot na ulit.Aminado si Ria na playing Dra. Gia has been her most challenging role to date."Mahirap mag play ng young mom, kung di ka pa talaga mom. Maghahanap ka talaga ng huhugutan. But I am thankful sa mom ko. She guides me."Hindi naman niya ako pinakikialaman how I do my role. Magtatanong lang yan. Ako naman, kapag in doubt, I'll ask her talaga. That's the time, she'll sit down with me."Buti na lang din talaga, I have the most supportive co actors and directors. Plus the guidance of our boss, si JRB (Julie Anne R. Benitez), the creatives and the whole staff. Hands on sila sa amin, sa buong cast," kwento ni Ria.Ngayong Monday, magsisimula na ang huling limang gabi ng My Dear Heart. sa Friday, June 16 ang huling gabi nito."I will miss the show, the whole cast, the kids, our directors and the whole staff and crew. It's been a challenging journey. But very very thankful for the experience. We built a family. I will forever be thankful to Dreamscape, Sir Deo (Endrinal), Ms. JRB, Ate Carl (dela Merced) for the opportunity of portaying Dra. Gia," sabi ni Ria.
