One of the most kilig-worthy couples in Pinoy Big Brother 737 was the pairing of Big Winner Miho Nishida and 2nd Big Placer Tommy Esguerra. Fans followed their real-life love story, from friendship to courtship to breakup.
The couple parted ways last April 29, just a few months after celebrating their first year anniversary. Prior to that, they shared the spotlight on It’s Showtime’s “Tomiho Realiserye” and Langit Lupa.
Apart from apologizing to their fans via Twitter, Miho released a statement on Tonight with Boy Abunda last Thursday. She also opened up to Boy Abunda, Karla Estrada, and Jolina Magdangal on the May 4 episode of Magandang Buhay.
“Wala namang perpektong relasyon,” said Miho. “May mga bagay kami na hindi napagkaunawaan.”
There have been speculations about Tommy’s sincerity, hinting that Tommy may just have used her to further his career. Miho was quick to reject the thought.
If there’s anything that she misses, it would be the friendship.
Miho assured their fans that they tried their best to make their relationship work.
She believes that there is a reason for everything, and that she is exactly where God wants her to be.
Miho hasn’t seen Tommy since the breakup, but she has no qualms over meeting him or working with him again. “Ready naman ako kung magkita kami.” While there is some sense of regret of not being able to make the relationship work, Miho doesn’t have any anger towards her ex-boyfriend.
Despite the failed relationship, Miho still chooses to believe in forever.
Kailangan mag-move on.”
Her daughter, Aimi, and her faith keep her grounded.
Right now, Miho keeps herself busy instead. Dancing workshop, acting workshop. Kung ano ‘yung ikaka-positive ng pagkatao ko.”
Miho chooses strength and positivity over a broken heart. “Tuloy pa rin and buhay.
