Ria Atayde gets an offer to be a Miss World Philippines candidate

Kailangan, Miss World, kailangan sobrang payat,” she shared.Sylvia also said that she’s already happy with her daughter’s success in showbiz but her husband Art Atayde’s dream for their daughter is to be a beauty queen or a newscaster.She then said that in the end it would be Ria’s decision to make, not theirs.“Desisyunan niya kung anong gusto niya, mag-beauty queen siya or gusto niya mag-showbiz. Ayaw ko siyang pakialaman. Kung anong gusto niya, bahala siya. Wala pang [definite plan] pero nagpapapayat siya nang husto,” she said.So far, Megan Young is the only Philippine candidate to bag the crown. She was hailed Miss World in 2013.
