Maymay Entrata on showbiz: ‘Napre-pressure din ako’

<img src='' alt='053017-MaymayEntrata_PUSH.jpg' width='500' height='390' align='center' border='0'> Maymay Entrata confessed that she feels pressured every now and then in her showbiz undertakings since she is still a newbie in the industry. “Masasabi ko po talaga na sa umpisa ang lahat po siguro nakakarananas ng kahirapan po. ‘Yung mga biglaang mga opportunities, siyempre napre-pressure din ako kasi gusto ko rin gawin ang best ko sa maliit man na bagay o malaking bagay na binibigay sa akin,” she said in an interview with <a href='/'>PUSH</a>. Despite being overwhelmed by the limelight, Maymay has been learning to enjoy her new journey. “Pero unti-unti ko na pong nai-enjoy ‘yung mga nangyayari sa buhay ko ngayon, dito sa buhay showbiz, natatanggap ko na po siya,” she stated. The newbie star is thankful to Star Magic and to her supporters for helping make opportunities come her way. “Siguro po kung hindi rin sa tulong ng Star Magic at sa mga taong sumusuporta po sa akin wala naman talaga akong matatanggap na opportunity kaya ‘yung willingness po na bigyan sila ng kasiyahan at maibigay sa kanila ‘yung gusto kong maipakita para sa kanila,” she said. Now that she is busy with show business in Manila, Maymay needed to leave her family back in the province. Meanwhile, her mom is still working overseas. She shared that they are still planning their family’s setup now that her life is already tied to the entertainment industry. “Ngayon po ‘yung family ko po nasa Camiguin po at tsaka ‘yung mama ko nasa Japan po kasi pinaplano pa po talaga namin kung papaano kami magsa-samasama. Lahat kasi hindi naman po talaga madali ‘yung proseso kaya ngayon po pinaplano ko po talaga ng maigi para ng sa ganon magsa-samasama kami para sulit po lahat,” she relayed.
