22 people were killed and 64 were injured after a bomber attacked the Manchester Arena right after Ariana Grande’s concert. As a result, Ariana’s record label announced through a statement that she is canceling her “Dangerous Woman” world tour to pay respect to those who died during the said incident.
"Due to the tragic events in Manchester, the Dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost. Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together,” it said in the statement.
Ariana was supposed to perform two shows at London's O2 arena this week but they were canceled as well as other shows until June 5. Those who purchased tickets would get a refund.
The American singer’s concert in Manila is scheduled for August 21.
