Daniel Padilla has been gearing up for his much-anticipated comeback on television via La Luna Sangre. The actor and his onscreen partner Kathryn Bernardo have been pretty busy lately preparing for the upcoming series.
“Ito nagtre-training na kami baka next month ipalabas na. Nagtre-training kami ni Kathryn ng martial arts,” he said in an interview with PUSH.
The Kapamilya star is elated to play a role that is very different from the ones he has portrayed before. “I’m excited, new story and excited din kasi masaya ‘yung show, light siya pero may action,” he revealed.
La Luna Sangre is the third installment of the fantasy franchise after Lobo and Imortal. Angel Locsin, who both starred in the previous installments, will also be part of the show. John Lloyd Cruz, who was part of Imortal, will also appear in the series.
Aside from his teleserye, Daniel has also been dedicating his time for Star Magic’s 25th anniversary celebration. The actor extended his gratitude to the talent management arm who has been honing him as an actor throughout the years.
“I’m very honored dahil kasama pa rin tayo sa 25th anniversary ng Star Magic at siyempre nagpapasalamat tayo sa Star Magic family natin sa pag-alaga, sa pagmamahal at sa pag-suporta sa bawat desisyon ng bawat artista,” he said.
