Elisse Joson
“Siguro ngayon ang sabi niya sa akin sa mundo ng showbiz kahit anong mangyari dapat huwag mawawala yung values na tinuro niya and yung decency namin.”

Jinri Park
“My mom always tells me to stay strong. She is a strong woman and I learned that from her. She has great leadership skills and she always fights for her beliefs. I am who I am now because of her.”

Sam Milby
“My mom has always been more about family. Friends may come and go but family will always be here.”

Dimples Romana
“Best advice my mama gave me is to treat people with respect and kindness all the time. For Mother’s day we plan to surprise her by cooking her favorite food!”

Alexa Ilacad
“Kasi yung mom ko sobrang chill lang siya so I think it’s just to always pray and I think that’s the best lesson lang naman talaga ever kasi na lagi ka lang magdasal and keep your head up high and she really makes sure naman talaga na no matter what happens, good or bad, she’ll always be there for me.”

Shamcey Supsup-Lee
“Naku madami eh. I’ve been told na huwag daw masyado mag-work too hard. Huwag maging masyadong workaholic (laughs). Because right now kaming mag-asawa we work hard, hard, hard! (laughs) We try to work as hard as we can while she’s (their daughter) still very young na medyo hindi pa siya naghahanap para when the time comes that she’s big na and she already knows what’s happening I will have the time, parang ganun. So masasamahan na namin siya in school and sa mga activities so yun yung parang goal namin mag-asawa.”

Nicco Manalo
“She taught me to be grateful sa lahat ng biyaya at laging magpasalamat. My mom would always say, ‘O ano sasabihin mo?’ tapos habang tumatanda ako sinasabi ko lang ‘thank you’ dahil kailangan pero yun din ang naging way para mas maintindihan ko kung bakit ako nag-tha-thank you. Habang tumatagal naging mas malalim yung pagsabi ko ng ‘thank you.’

Paul Soriano
“Unconditional love. My mother up to this day unconditionally loves me and my brothers. She’s always there for us no matter how busy her life is. Because we also make mistakes, we’re also not perfect but she loves us no matter what and my mother now I think the best thing I’m experiencing now is how much love she’s giving my son Sevi. My mother is just so in love with my son and to see that is just an awesome feeling. It’s like the greatest thing I’ve ever done for my mother was to give her Sevi so she’s definitely enjoying my son.”

Maxene Magalona
“Naku ang dami pero one of the best advice na sinabi ni mom sa akin when I asked her, ‘How come after all the hardships, after all the pain na pinagdaanan ko, how come parang nandito pa rin ako? Bakit parang binibigyan ako ni God ng second chance?’ I’ve had my fair share of mistakes and mga hardships in the past pero na-fi-feel ko pa rin yung presence and love ni God through my family. Bakit kahit marami akong pagkakamali in the past nandito pa rin ako na minamahal ninyo pamilya ko? Sabi naman ng mom ko sa akin, ‘It’s because God can see yung kabutihan ng puso mo. Kahit anong gawin mo, kahit anong pagkakamali, as long as you keep your heart good, yun talaga yun. I guess yun yung isang natutunan ko sa kanya na huwag mo kalimutan yung pagiging mabuti ng puso mo. I’m not saying that I’m the most mabait na tao in the world, marami din akong flaws pero sabi ng mom ko kung mabuti yung puso mo at intentions mo maganda, ganun dapat.”

Yael Yuzon
“I can’t really think of one because we’re really close and she always gives me advice about everything. She was a flight attendant for such a long time and she would beat me in Jeopardy (the game) every time and sabi niya kaya niya ako natatalo lagi dahil sa travel and she knows things. So I guess she just encouraged me early on to travel and to learn things and to this very day it’s been like a thing in our family so that’s pretty much it.”

Pat Sugui
“She told me to just do whatever makes me happy as long as it’s right.”
