Tommy Esguerra cries over break-up with Miho Nishida

051117-TommyEsguerra_PUSH.jpgOne could feel model-actor Tommy Esguerra’s loneliness when the topic of his ex-girlfriend Miho Nishida was brought up during his guest appearance on Magandang Buhay, May 11.

The two met as housemates of the Pinoy Big Brother house in 2015 and after, became a couple for one year and a half.

Talking about the reason for their separation, Tommy, who admitted that it has been months that they were not happy, said, “I don’t think it’s just one reason. It’s a culmination of many things… We have different values, different morals and I guess in the long run that you wouldn’t play out well, you know.”

He also said that although they would get lost in translation at times given the language barrier, he would try to listen. He said that he was fighting for the relationship the whole time, from the beginning to the end.

“I fought for our relationship from beginning to the end but there just comes the point where you realize there’s nowhere more to go.”

Tommy also admitted that the breakup was not a mutual decision. He also broke down when the topic of moving on was brought up.

Earlier, he said, “It’s a process talaga. Every breakup is always hard. It’s a hard thing you go through. You have to rediscover yourself sometimes.

Sometimes, you invest too much in the relationship.”

Although “nanghihinayang,” Tommy said that he is not angry at Miho. He also said that he is not yet ready to date again and would just like to focus on his career.

Emotional, he said, “I wish her the best no matter what happened in our relationship,” and directly admitted that he, of course, still loves her. As of the moment, Tommy said that he does not think that he and Miho could get back together.
