Brunei-based businesswoman Kathelyn Dupaya aired her resentment towards Pia Wurtzbach’s “ungrateful” attitude while she and her boyfriend Marlon Stockinger were in Brunei.
[sic]”
In an interview with PEP.ph, Kathelyn said that she asked Pia to grace her spa’s opening after she sponsored the beauty queen and her entourages’ trip to Brunei. However, Pia was a no-show, which disappointed her. She even said that she heard Pia was already bad-mouthing her so she quickly took to social media to air her side.
However a few days after, she retracted her statement and said it was all just a “misunderstanding.”
“I just [talked] to Jonas (Gaffud) the manager of Pia thru phone, [and] after our long conversation we found out [from] each other [that] the cause of trouble is MISUNDERSTANDING between me and PIA and surrounded by us [sic]. Jonas explained everything to me. What is the true happening [sic]. All the damages was [sic] done. I am so sorry po kung ano nasabi ko kasi sobra [akong] nasaktan and I believe nasaktan din si Pia. Both of us ay nasaktan kaya both of us say [sic] sorry for everything at tao lang po tayo lahat para di magkamali. Jonas, the manager of Pia, and I are ok and we end [sic] our conversation happy and both of us [said] sorry for everything. God bless us all,” she wrote in her photo’s caption.
Pia’s manager Jonas Gaffud also released a statement regarding the issue, which echoed Kathelyn’s statement.
