Maymay Entrata to release debut album next month

Hindi pa rin po nag-sink in sa utak ko pero napakasaya ko po na binigyan nila ako ng opportunity,” she started.The album will feature her original songs, a duet with her PBB love team partner Edward Barber, and some remakes that fit her bubbly personality.“High school po ako nung nag-start akong mag-compose compose and ‘yung mga matalik ko lang na kaibigan ang nakakaalam,” she said about her songwriting skills.According to Maymay, her two original compositions on the album would tackle the subject of dreams and love.Maymay revealed that her musical inspirations include Yeng Constantino and KZ Tandingan.When did she realize that she could actually sing?“‘Yung nakita ko ‘yung potential ko sa pagkakanta ko, nagsimula nung college. Kasi doon po nagsimula dahil choir po ako para sa scholarship ko,” she said about being member of a chorale when she was in college in Cagayan de Oro.Now that she is a recording artist, Maymay revealed that she has a couple of performers with whom she wants to work with.“Sila Gary Valenciano, Yeng, si KZ, si Sarah Geronimo tapos mahilig rin ako sa Tagalog songs so andyan rin sila Vina Morales and Ma’am Zsa Zsa Padilla,” she said.
