Now that she is 18, Sharlene San Pedro wants to be more responsible and independent. After celebrating her birthday a few weeks ago, the teen star has made profound realizations now that she is of legal age.
A birthday party was organized by Sharlene’s fans recently together with the kids of Virlanie Foundation. She confessed that she did not plan to have a party. “Pero sobrang natuwa ako kasi talagang nag-effort ‘yung mga supporters ko para maging special for me,” she said.
She explained that she actually had a different idea to commemorate the new milestone in her life. “Actually kaya ayoko talaga mag-celebrate ng birthday kasi gusto kong mag-travel with ate Miles (Ocampo) sa Australia.”
Both are heading to the Land Down Under this May. She shared that they have been yearning for an escapade overseas for some time now.
Apart from traveling, Sharlene is also gearing up for an album launch this June. She shared that her record will be composed of songs that tackle the subjects of love and heartbreak that most of the youth experience.
“[It’s] under Yellow Room Music Philippines. It’s all about hugot, kumbaga para talaga sa mga kabataan ‘yung album ko since ‘yun naman talaga ‘yung market ngayon. Sa social media para talagang masyadong maraming feels ‘yung mga kabataan ngayon kaya for sure makaka-relate talaga sila,” she said.
