Edward Barber and Maymay Entrata are slowly getting used to the hectic world of show business. In an interview at the shoot of their newest endorsement for McDonald's, the popular love team recounted their journey to adjusting life in the spotlight.
Edward revealed that he struggled at first when he set foot in the industry. "I had a little teaser of what showbiz is when I got out of the PBB house for the first time in December and that went so quick and as in, I could barely keep up," he shared.
After a few months, the teen star relayed that he already get passed the initial overwhelming pressure that comes with fame and learned to revel in his new journey.
"Now it is still going quick but I am slowly becoming used to it. I am enjoying it a lot than before. Actually I am not gonna lie, there were quite a few times then when I got out the first time that I was not enjoying it. So now I am happier doing things even it is dancing. I am happier getting to do it so I am just more happy even though that it is still stressful of course," he stated.
Meanwhile Maymay remarked that she made some realizations about show business as time passed by. The PBB Lucky 7 Big Winner confessed that she is still in disbelief that her dreams are coming true.
"Sa ngayon po masasabi ko talaga na unti-unti ko ng naiintindihan ang showbiz na buhay kasi ano siyempre baguhan ako, nabigla ako sa nangyayari, may mga ganon. Tapos kasi pangarap ko lang tapos biglang natupad agad agad," she stated.
Maymay said that she looks up to Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano when it comes to handling life in the entertainment industry. She admires how they have remained grounded regardless of their various achievements and successes in the biz. "Sobrang humble nila. Sobrang down to earth nila," she said.
