Yassi Pressman wants to audition for the role of Darna

The 21-year-old “Ang Probinsyano” actress said if given the chance she would love to try out for the role. “Kung may auditions oo naman. Pakiramdam ko it’s an honor for anyone to be called the next Darna. Napakahusay ng mga naging Darna. Pero ako hindi ko in-expect din at wala ring nagsasabi sa akin kaya hindi ko inaasahan pero mapabilang lang sa mga pinagpipilian is an honor,” she shared during the Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom phone launch held in Makati City.Yassi said that she would be happy for whoever gets chosen for the part and even has some actresses in mind for the role. “Marami akong naisip dati eh. Basta marami na akong naisip na mga posible na sobrang magagandang mga babae na hindi lang umaarte kundi good people din. So yung buong image ni Darna na superhero na mabait sa lahat sana in real life yun din yung ini-imbibe nila as their real image,” she revealed. Part of the reason why fans want her for the role is her sexy body which Yassi said is the product of working out a lot. “Nag-ba-boxing ako mga five years pero ngayon I’m doing Muay Thai. Bago pa lang siguro mga two months na. Na-bore kasi ako eh (laughs). Gusto kong nag-ta-try ng mga new things always. Nakakatuwa yung experience dahil hindi ko akalain na ganun siya at saka grabeng kabigat sa katawan. Ganun siya ka-intense. Nakakapagod sobra. Marami pa siyang ituturo sa akin, mga swords, mga ganyan. Sana soon pag nagkaroon ng time. Wala pang time,” she told the press. When it comes to her beauty regimen, Yassi shared her simple nightly routine, “Sleep well, find the right soap that’s good for you, hanapin niyo lang yung mga products na hiyang sa inyo and drink a lot of water, try to get enough sleep and be happy.”
