Lea Salonga excited about daughter Nicole Chen's theater audition

"She's got a call back, but let’s not celebrate just yet and we’re all nervous. We keep telling her that you must come in prepared. Just be what you can be. If you got the job, that’s good. If you don’t, just consider this a learning experience for you," pigil na kuwento ni Lea.

"As a member of the original company… I want it to be successful kasi damay lahat eh. Whether you are in the original company anywhere in the world, you are carrying on a legacy."

"I’ve got so many friends in that production too, so when I read a less than favorable review… it kind of makes me feel like yeah. But the thing about a review it’s subjective."

"That’s a case-to-case basis right now," sabi pa ni Lea.

"There are quite a few artists [who] want to be generous with their fans [but] end up six feet under ground. I mean I don’t want that. It’s frightening, it’s scary, it’s something that any artist has to think about so if I decide to have a photograph, I have to measure it on my reactions," pagtatapos na pahayag ni Lea.
