One Music PH’s Volts Vallejo hopes his songs become teleserye themes

Well, he has been officially introduced as online music portal One Music PH’s very first contract artist.Before his big break, Volts Vallejo said that he was just uploading song covers on YouTube. One Music discovered him through their section, Be Discovered – a user-generated platform where aspiring performers can showcase their talents by uploading their videos.One of the prime movers of the digital music site, Richard Reynante, said, “Proven naman ‘yung kay Volts. Nag-upload siya ng video niya. Tinignan namin. Okay pala siya. Pinatawag namin siya dito. Pinasampolan ng mga kanta until nagsuggest kami sa kanya on how to improve his craft. Now, we’re signing him up.”And so, Volts, whose real name is Voltaire, expressed how thrilled he is to be the first discovery of One Music. “Dream siya ng any artist na mapasama sa isang network, sa isang record label.” He is currently working on his first album where people can expect original songs they can relate to. “Ayokong gumawa ng song na parang generic lang. Gusto ko ‘yung song na gagawin ko is makakarelate ‘yung mga tao tapos lalagyan mo pa ng magandang melody,” adding that he is more inclined to pop and soulful songs, as well as ballads. Volts said he wants to be known as, “A songwriter na ‘yung mga songs ko, tumatatak. So as much as possible siguro, dapat maganda. Tapos gusto ko siya maging part pa rin ng mga teleserye, mga theme songs, movies.”He also invited performers to upload videos on One Music PH like he did so they have the chance to be discovered. “Kasi kapag sa One Music PH niyo siya inupload, mas direct siya eh so there’s a chance na maging part siya ng theme song ng isang movie like what happened to my song, ‘Hey Crush.’”
