Gerald Anderson says he was impressed by Kim Chiu's MMK performance

032617-GeraldAnderson_PUSH.jpgThe reunion episode of Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu in Maalaala Mo Kaya gained the approval of television viewers and was met with enthusiasm by Kimerald fans. Gerald credited its success to Kim’s performance, admitting that he himself was in awe of her execution. The actor said he could not help but be proud of Kim’s growth as an actress. He also confessed that he has since been longing to work with Kim, that getting the chance to collaborate with her again has stirred up excitement in him.

She's came a long way na pagdating sa craft namin,” he said in an interview at his welcome home party after joining the 42K Skechers Performance L.A. Marathon.

Gerald and Kim’s television comeback is set to continue this year as a new series is in the works. It's a great show, napakaganda ng istroya, napakaganda ng mensahe na gusto naming iparating sa tao. We are excited,” he shared.

Aside from his stint in MMK this March, Gerald also celebrated his birthday this month. As to his birthday wish, Gerald said he did not ask for anything grand but instead he hopes he gets the chance to continually pay it forward in exchange of the good things that have been happening in his career

With the actor currently linked to Bea Alonzo, the media asked what was her birthday present for him. Gerald shared it was worth beyond any material stuff. “More than anything it's not just about kung ano ang ibinigay sa akin na gift, it’s just ‘yung support na nandiyan and that’s more than enough para sa akin."

Amid the ongoing speculations about the real score between him and Bea, the actor stressed that he does not want to rush anything when it comes to his love life.

Gerald has also scratched off something on his list of goals this year by joining the 42K marathon in Los Angeles, California. The actor remarked that he is grateful to be part of Skechers which opened doors for him to represent a brand and the Philippines in an international event.
